2007 Riviera 37 Flybridge

Presented in excellent order throughout, this 2007 Riviera 37 Flybridge is a genuinely versatile family and fishing boat — two cabins sleeping seven, a properly fitted-out cockpit, and a flybridge set up to be used in every kind of weather.

The cockpit is the heart of this boat. A moulded GRP swim platform and transom gate open onto a teak cockpit sole in very good condition, with a transom bait tank and lockers right around the cockpit for tackle, lines and gear. A lift-up sink sits forward of the cockpit, with engine room access directly below. To port there’s a large insulated cool box, shore power inlet, Fusion stereo head unit, cockpit spotlights and further stowage. A white Bimini over the aft cockpit keeps half the deck shaded, and the ladder to port leads up to the flybridge.

Through the door, the saloon is finished in high-gloss timber that has been beautifully kept. Beige leather lounges run down both sides — a large L-shaped settee with centre ottoman to port, and a second L-shaped lounge to starboard with a timber dinette table. A convertible berth sits beneath the port lounge. The main switchboard is aft to starboard with storage lockers beneath, and a Sony TV is fitted in the saloon. Blinds throughout, with the carpet protected by a fitted clear runner.

Two steps down, the galley is a serious one: a large L-shaped bench with timber flooring, Dometic refrigeration, a Fisher & Paykel two-burner cooktop, a sink with both filtered and standard fresh water, a Smeg microwave convection oven opposite, glass and cup stowage forward, and lockers the full length of the bench. Air conditioning controls and the water tank gauge are mounted here.

Forward is the master with a queen island berth, opening porthole, television and hanging lockers both port and starboard. The starboard guest cabin carries two single berths that convert to a double, plus a bunk above. The bathroom to port is fitted with toilet, sink, shower, vanity storage, mirror and an overhead opening porthole. Downlights and speakers run throughout, with a second Fusion head unit below. 

The flybridge is well equipped and the clears are in good condition. The helm carries new Raymarine Axiom twin touchscreen displays with radar, Doppler upgrade, fish finder and sonar, Raymarine autopilot, Volvo Penta engine management display, Icom VHF and a Seafire engine room fire suppression system. Forward of the helm is a forward-facing lounge with plenty of room for guests.

The Riviera 37 Flybridge remains one of the most sought-after boats in its size range, and examples with this level of recent investment in navigation, electronics and deck gear are not often available. Inspection is highly recommended.
