1998 Riviera 48 Open Flybridge
1998 RIVIERA 48 OPEN FLYBRIDGE – "PLAN B"
Hull #44 of Riviera's much-loved 48 Open Flybridge, "Plan B" has been steadily updated where it counts – new turbos, a low-hours Caterpillar generator (recently installed), a Garmin electronics refit with Starlink, Fusion audio throughout and new saloon flooring, plus a major running-gear and hull refresh in March 2026 – while keeping the proven layout and twin Caterpillar power that made the 48 a favourite with Australian cruising and fishing families.
Three cabins and two full bathrooms, three air-conditioning units, bow and stern thrusters and a huge open flybridge make her an easy boat to live aboard and entertain on, and the extended teak swim platform, outriggers and big cockpit mean she still does the fishing job properly. Based at Newport on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
