2008 Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht

The Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht is a well-proportioned, Australian-built motor yacht, combining strong offshore performance with effortless entertaining and comfortable accommodation including 2 cabins and two well-appointed bathrooms.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS600 diesels, producing 435hp each and driving IPS pod drives, close-quarters manoeuvring and berthing are made straightforward by the twin IPS joystick control. At the helm, twin Volvo Penta engine management displays, a Raymarine navigation display, an Icom IC-M422 VHF and a Danforth compass put all key systems comfortably within reach. The addition of an aft awning-mounted docking camera adds an extra comfort and safety element to the operation of the vessel.

The teak-laid cockpit is designed for entertaining with a wet bar to port, including a fridge, sink and ice maker. The swim platform provides easy access to the water, with a boarding ladder to port. The inflatable tender rides on a stainless rail mount at the stern, powered by a Suzuki 2.5hp four-stroke outboard. A full walk-around deck gives safe access to the bow from either side.

A step through into the interior brings you to a saloon and galley that flow together beneath an electric sunroof, filling the space with natural light, aided further by the upward folding hopper window between the cockpit and the saloon. The full air conditioning — via three CruisAir chillers with individual cabin control — ensures year-round comfort. The galley is well appointed with a 2-burner cooktop, a microwave/convection oven, a drawer freezer and a half-fridge. The L-shaped lounge and dinette wraps around it, and entertainment is handled by a Fusion MS-RA70N sound system, with a pop-up TV on the port side. 

Accommodation comprises of two cabins and two bathrooms, sleeping five, offering good flexibility for extended cruising or entertaining family and friends. Forward, the main cabin has an island-style V-berth you can walk around on both sides, a deck hatch overhead for light and airflow, hanging storage to each side and its own TV. Just aft is a standalone day head with a separate shower screen, doing double duty as the guest day head and the forward cabin's own ensuite. Amidships, beneath the saloon, the midships cabin offers a transverse twin berth to port plus a longitudinal single berth, along with its own TV, mirrors and hanging storage, and its own ensuite with a separate shower screen to the toilet.
