Thunderbird is a beautifully presented 2013 Princess V57, the flagship of the Princess V Class sports range and one of the most popular sports yachts in her size category.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta D13-800 V-drive shafts, Thunderbird has recorded just 495 hours and is presented in exceptional condition throughout. She has been meticulously maintained, with an excellent service history and a regular detailing/polishing schedule.
At the stern, the teak-laid hydraulic swim platform makes launching and retrieving the tender effortless, with a stainless-steel boarding rail and large tender garage housing a Williams Jet Tender. The cockpit sits beneath a fixed hardtop and can be fully enclosed with the white Stamoid storm covers, making the space genuinely usable in all weather conditions. A large sunbed occupies the aft section, while forward is a generous L-shaped lounge surrounding a folding dinette table, with storage beneath. To starboard, the cockpit entertainment centre includes a sink, barbecue and large fridge.
The saloon is spacious, open and filled with natural light. Beautiful timber cabinetry is complemented by timber flooring, creating a warm and sophisticated interior. The large opening sunroof and additional overhead hatches flood the saloon with light, while blinds to both port and starboard allow the space to be enclosed when required. A beautifully designed benchtop runs along the starboard side, incorporating extensive storage, a Waeco bar fridge and a Vitrifrigo ice maker as well as a hidden TV which pops out on an electric lift. To port, there is a large L shape lounge with a timber dinette table in the centre. The dinette also electronically lowers to become a coffee table.
The helm is centered around twin white leather helm seats and a Raymarine HybridTouch multifunction display incorporating chart plotter, radar and fishfinder functions. A Raymarine autopilot and VHF radio are complemented by Volvo Penta EVC engine management displays and electronic throttles. Close-quarters handling is exceptionally well catered for with Yacht Controller, bow thruster and joystick controls, making manoeuvring and berthing remarkably straightforward and easily manageable by one person.
The full-beam master cabin is positioned amidships and benefits from large windows on both sides creating a very light and welcoming space. There is extensive timber cabinetry and locker storage to starboard with a long timber benchtop and a comfortable day lounge to port. A Samsung Smart TV, vanity and makeup storage complete the space, while the ensuite features a separate shower, toilet and basin. The forward guest cabin features two single berths in a V configuration that slide into a double bed if needed, with windows to both sides and its own opening sunroof. There is generous hanging and overhead locker storage, together with a private ensuite incorporating shower, toilet, basin and additional storage. The starboard guest cabin provides twin bunk berths with generous storage, while the third bathroom is immediately forward and includes a basin, shower, toilet and opening porthole.
