2011 Carolina Classic 25

Water Girl is a Carolina Classic 25 — the hardtop express that built the brand's offshore reputation, and a boat you will rarely see on the Australian market. Only a handful were imported, and the model is no longer in production.

She is powered by a single Volvo Penta D4 300 hp on a tunnel shaft drive, with under 800 hours on the clock. No legs to antifoul, no legs to service, and the fuel economy that makes a long run to the shelf a comfortable proposition rather than an expensive one. A Side-Power bow thruster and Seastar hydraulic steering mean she berths like a twin.

The current owner has not held back. The hull was stripped back and completely refinished in 2025/26. The electronics were replaced as a full Simrad package in 2023 — a 16″ NSS integrated display, 24 nm radar, autopilot, chartplotter suite and an Airmar 450 m 1 kW transducer, all working as one system. The heat exchanger and exhaust mixer were serviced in 2026, the gearbox controller upgraded in 2025, and the surround clears and aft seats renewed in 2026. She presents accordingly.

For the angler, she is properly set up: Precision carbon outriggers with a removable shotgun, Reel Colors machined teaser reels, Lee's rod holders four per side to the cockpit coaming, a teak bait station, plumbed live-bait tube, bait tank and kill tanks, and an insulated under-seat fibreglass icebox. The GRP non-skid cockpit is deep, uncluttered and easy to work.

Below, the lockable half cabin sleeps two in the V-berth, with an overhead hatch, rod storage to both shelves, a Whale 10 L hot water service and an electric saltwater-flushing head with holding tank. Twin 110 Ah house batteries with 200 W solar keep everything running, and a Fireboy automatic suppression system protects the engine bay.

A tidy, well-sorted offshore fishing boat with the hard work already done.
